CHALLENGING AG JAMES TO PUT UP OR SHUT UP!
An Obama era NY judge has found former President Donald Trump in contempt of court—a $10,000 per day fine--for failing to provide NY state Attorney General Letitia James with documents she is demanding in a civil probe of Mr. Trump’s family business.
“For years, Donald Trump has tried to evade the law and stop our lawful investigation into him and his company’s financial dealings,” said Ms. James. “Today’s ruling makes clear: No one is above the law.”
Donald Trump first came on my personal radar back in 1987 when he released his best-selling autobiography, The Art of the Deal, a super brilliant book in which he outlined many of his business practices. In the 35 years since it was published, Mr. Trump has had zero issues with the IRS and was extensively probed by the media when he announced his candidacy for president in 2015. In fact, thanks to the comprehensive Mueller Report, one could even so much as argue that former President Trump was/is the most investigated man in the world, and yet we are now to believe that a state AG has dug up some dirt on him that stems from business practice(s) that he proudly published during the Reagan era??
Hey, here’s an idea for my home state’s Attorney General who so proudly touts that “no one is above the law”: I challenge Ms. James to be the first AG in the country to hold Hillary Clinton accountable for her treasonous crimes—which were spawned on NY soil--of spying on the Trump campaign and initiating the Russian Collusion hoax that in wasting $40 million of taxpayer money, was the least of the litany of damage it did to a duly elected president.
What do you say, Ms. James. When it comes to your statement that “no one is above the law,” it’s put up or shut up time!
