Project Civica is a citizen-powered, non-partisan organization of everyday New Yorkers, grassroots groups, experienced mentors and national partners. We work together to educate, organize, and activate communities to defend liberty and hold our government accountable. We believe informed citizens have the power to lead real change - starting right here in New York

TO ENSURE YOUR PARTY REFLECTS YOUR VALUES, BECOME A LOCAL COMMITTEEPERSON. We must have an influential voice within our local political party for New York to have a bright future.

Quick Start Steps to Become a Committeeperson

  1. To confirm your Assembly District (AD) or Election District (ED) and to be sure you are registered in the party you wish to serve in, use the Voter Search Screen for VoterLookUp

  2. At http://projectcivica.org:

    1. watch the short video above explaining the process.

    2. You can sign up for our Committee Strategy meeting every Monday at 7:00 p.m. by completing the form for a weekly Zoom link.

  3. Attend weekly meetings to learn about the process and receive assistance from Project Civica.

  4. The information you provide will be sent to a coordinator within your county.

  5. Visit http://projectcivica.org/media/. Watch Steve Gillan’s presentation video to understand why you should join this effort.

Steve Gillan, Master of Ceremonies of the 150th Anniversary Lincoln Dinner. Steve is co-founder Project Civica, a great statewide grassroots organization dedicated to getting people active involved in political and civic action. Steve is a natural leader, strategist, a grassroots organizer, and a veteran of the US Air Force, chief of his local fire department, and a 9-11 first responder.
